DIALYSIS TECHNOLOGIST

A Dialysis Technician is qualified to be able to operate dialysis machines for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. They are qualified in the preparation of dialysis fluids as well as the reuse of dialyzers for washing and storage. A diploma holder is able to set up and operate the dialysis machines, formula-based dialysate mixing, and saline or heparinized solution dialyzer preparation to prepare the pump.
